Backup power for your business

A power outage stops production, damages data or endangers the safety of a whole building. A standby source keeps your business running — independently of the state of the distribution grid and regardless of the length of the outage.

  • AKSA, Himoinsa, Energy Gruppi
  • Outputs 20–3000+ kVA
  • Initial response within one working day

What an outage costs you

A manufacturing plant can lose hundreds of thousands of crowns per hour. A cold store its entire contents. A server room its customers' trust. A standby generator is insurance whose price is a fraction of the potential loss.

The right solution always follows from the specific situation. These are the key questions we go through together — and the power ranges below are indicative: the exact output is always designed individually for the specific operation and load.

Your type of operation not listed? We supply generators for industrial, commercial and special applications. Send an inquiry — initial response within one working day; the timing of the technical design and quotation depends on the project and scope. Without obligation.

The cost of an outage

Stopped production and orders

Stopped production, unprocessed orders and penalties for missed deliveries. Every hour of downtime has a calculable price.

Data and hardware damage

An abrupt shutdown of servers, databases and control systems leads to damaged data integrity and hardware faults.

Safety risks

Loss of lighting, emergency systems, access systems and lifts is a safety risk for employees and property.

Damaged relationships

Unavailable services and unmet commitments damage relationships with customers and business partners.

Unsalvageable goods

Cold stores and production lines with strict temperature control — the goods cannot be saved.

Statutory requirements

Some regulated operations and critical infrastructure have specific statutory requirements for standby power.

For which businesses is a standby source suitable

Office buildings

Security systems, access terminals, lifts and IT infrastructure must not fail during an outage.

Manufacturing

Production lines, CNC machines, compressor stations — every outage means stopped production and scrap.

Logistics and warehousing

Automated racking systems, cold-storage boxes, loading terminals and parcel sorters.

Hotels and gastronomy

Reception, lifts, restaurants, air-conditioning — guest comfort and safety cannot depend on the state of the grid.

IT and hosting

An outage of a server or network node means an immediate outage for the customers of your customers.

Crafts and print

Paint shops, CNC workshops, print shops and operations dependent on uninterrupted supply for technology and control systems.

Co je potřebné pro který provoz

Smaller operations

  • Office buildings, retail, smaller production operations, farms and family businesses.
  • Simple ATS, fast installation, low operating costs.

Mid-size operations

  • Production halls, warehouses, shopping centres and hotels.
  • Robust solutions adapted to the requirements of the operation — output, configuration and installation method.

Large and critical operations

  • Industrial plants, logistics centres, data centres and infrastructure projects.
  • Redundant configurations and parallel systems.

What a standby system consists of

Industrial generator units

Industrial AKSA, Himoinsa or Energy Gruppi generators with Perkins, Doosan or Volvo Penta engines. Outputs 20–3000+ kVA for standby and continuous operation.

Automatic transfer switch (ATS)

Monitors the grid supply and starts the generator and transfers the load on an outage — automatically, without manual intervention. Standard transfer within 10–30 s.

Fuel tank

Integrated or separate tank with capacity for 8–72+ hours of operation. For long-term standby without refuelling.

Alarms and remote diagnostics

GSM alarms, automatic e-mail notifications and remote diagnostics. BMS or building control-system integration is addressed individually per project.

Acoustic canopy

For installations in residential areas or under strict operating conditions. Reduces noise to 65–68 dB(A) at full load (model-dependent).

How the design of a standby source for a business proceeds

  1. Step 1

    Operation analysis

We identify the type of operation, the criticality of the supply and the key technologies. Simply fill in the inquiry form or call.

  2. Step 2

    Technical design

We design the generator output, ATS configuration, placement and tank type. We respond within one working day; the design timing depends on the project and scope.

  3. Step 3

    Quotation

A transparent offer with no hidden items — generator, ATS, transport, installation, commissioning, documentation.

  4. Step 4

    Delivery and installation

We arrange transport, crane work, placement and electrical connection. Turnkey installation without worries on your side.

  5. Step 5

    Service

Regular maintenance, emergency service and remote diagnostics. The standby must work at the moment you need it.

Standby source for a business — most frequent questions

How large a generator does a business need?

The output follows from the connected critical load, the simultaneity of operation and the starting currents of the largest motors. We always design the exact output individually for the specific operation and load — the ranges on this page are indicative only.

How long does the installation take?

Simpler installations (up to 200 kVA) can be completed within 1–3 working days. Larger or more complex projects take longer depending on the extent of construction work and the electrical connection.

What is ATS and does every generator need it?

ATS (automatic transfer switch) monitors the grid and automatically starts the generator and transfers the load on an outage. It is essential wherever nobody is available to start the unit manually. For attended, occasional use a manual changeover switch can be sufficient.

What about noise and emissions?

Canopied executions reduce noise to around 65–68 dB(A) at full load (model-dependent). Emissions depend on the engine and the applicable limits at the place of installation — Stage V engines are available on selected models.

Is regular maintenance necessary?

Yes — a standby generator requires regular service inspections (usually once a year or after 250 operating hours), oil and filter changes and fuel-system checks. We offer service contracts adapted to your needs.

Ratings are indicative, not a full-facility guarantee — the required PRP or ESP rating is confirmed from your load profile, starting loads and critical circuits during project sizing.

Czech projects — scope as agreed

For Czech projects the delivery may include, as agreed: generator supply, design of the installation, commissioning on a prepared site, turnkey realization and a service contract. The scope is always clarified together during consultation and confirmed in the quotation.

International supply — EXW CZ/NL

International direct sales are preferably EXW Czech Republic / Netherlands; transport is agreed individually. Installation and service abroad are possible in agreed cases and are always confirmed individually by location and model. Manufacturer warranty.
