A chain, not a component

In a data centre the standby system is a chain: the UPS bridges the seconds, the generator takes over for the whole duration of the outage, the ATS coordinates the transfer and the control systems prioritise the critical circuits. A failure of any link means an outage — regardless of the quality of the individual components.

We design and supply the whole chain: generator output sized for the real load including UPS recharge, coordination with the UPS and building systems, redundancy configurations N+1 and N+2 and load testing of the complete system.

What we solve for data centres

UPS coordination

The generator must take over within the UPS bridging window — timing and settings are designed and tested together.

Recharge loads

UPS battery recharging after an outage increases the total draw — the output must be sized for it.

Redundancy N+1 / N+2

Parallel configurations with reserve units — the architecture follows from the Tier design and SLA of the specific infrastructure.

Fuel autonomy

8–72+ hours according to SLA commitments, including refuelling logistics for extended outages.

Load testing

Testing of the whole chain — from simulated grid failure to UPS recharge — at real or representative load.

Service readiness

Contracted service with a defined response, preventive maintenance and spare-parts availability.

Typical configurations

Single generator + ATS

Standby for company server rooms and smaller technical facilities.

Parallel N+1

Redundant configuration for commercial data centres with higher availability requirements.

Multimegawatt installations

Larger units or groups of units for extensive data-centre campuses.

Container solutions

Generators in containers for fast capacity extension of an existing site.

Scope of delivery

Generators

Industrial AKSA units from hundreds of kVA to multimegawatt outputs.

Switching and control

ATS panels and switchboards coordinated with the UPS and building management systems.

Power infrastructure

Cabling, switchboards and connection to the DC power distribution.

Testing

Full-chain load test — simulated outage, UPS transition, generator takeover, recharge.

Service

SLA-based service plans for critical operations.

Ratings are indicative, not a full-facility guarantee — the required PRP or ESP rating is confirmed from your load profile, starting loads and critical circuits during project sizing.

Czech projects — scope as agreed

For Czech projects the delivery may include, as agreed: generator supply, design of the installation, commissioning on a prepared site, turnkey realization and a service contract. The scope is always clarified together during consultation and confirmed in the quotation.

International supply — EXW CZ/NL

International direct sales are preferably EXW Czech Republic / Netherlands; transport is agreed individually. Installation and service abroad are possible in agreed cases and are always confirmed individually by location and model. Manufacturer warranty.
